Rafael Barros and Carine Morais are the current eight-time Salsa world champions.
In their resumes they have the first place in the following championships:

- Rey Castro Salsa Competition (2010/2011)
- World Salsa Open/Porto Rico (2010, 2012, 2013)
- Six Degrees/Toronto (2012)
- World Latin Dance Cup/US (2013, 2014, 2016)
- World Salsa Championship/US (2016)
These achievements have placed Brazil at the center of the salsa world and makes the country an important dance reference.
With almost twelve years of partnership Rafael and Carine stand out not only for their refined technique and musicality, but also for the harmony of their dances.
Since 2009 Rafael and Carine have been teaching at a loats of importants dance congresses in Brazil and abroad, exceeding the number of more than 300 participations in congresses in more than 35 countries, like:
Argertina, Italy, Guatemala, Uruguay, Chile, Australia, Portugal, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, Puerto Rico, Canada, Trukey, India, Panama, Bolivia, Costa Rica, China, Canary Islands, Thailand, Spain, Lebanon, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Austria, Singapore, United States, Germany, France, Greece and Switzerland.
For almost five years, they were owners of Carine & Rafael Dance School in São Paulo – Brazil. For seven years they organize the biggest brazilian balroom dance competition: the Brasil Latin Open.
It is also worth mentioning the numerous participations in television shows (entertainment ones and journalistic ones) – in Brazil and abroad, some names are: Fantastico, Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, Globo Esporte, Programa do Jô – all in TV GLOBO – BR.
